A Legacy of Healing, Reimagined
In Hungary, where the earth’s crust lies unusually thin, thermal waters rich in minerals rise naturally to the surface, giving life to a centuries-old tradition of healing. For over 2,000 years, these restorative springs have inspired the creation of thermal baths—Sanitas Per Aqua, or Health Through Water.
This profound connection between nature and wellbeing found a new chapter in 1861, when the Omorovicza family built the renowned Rácz Fürdő in Budapest, on the historic site of a 16th-century Ottoman bath. Captivated by the transformative effects of its waters, Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza set out to understand their true potential. In collaboration with a Nobel Prize-winning dermatological laboratory, they uncovered the extraordinary properties of Hungary’s healing waters—infused with over 26 minerals, including magnesium, essential for cellular vitality and regeneration.
Today, this heritage flourishes in the Omorovicza Institutes of Budapest and London—modern sanctuaries where ancient tradition meets cutting-edge science. Within these serene environments, guests are invited to experience immersive rituals and bespoke treatments, each crafted to restore balance, radiance, and inner harmony. Fusing the curative powers of mineral-rich waters with pioneering skincare, the Institutes reflect Omorovicza’s enduring commitment to innovation, beauty, and holistic wellness.
